Large-scale preparations for the Kremlin's 500th birthday, which will take place on September 26, 2020, are in full swing in Tula.

Half a thousand years is a solid anniversary. And they are preparing for it thoroughly. Not only were the towers and medieval fortifications restored. Like new-shopping malls, cobblestone streets. And the Kazan embankment did not have to be restored — it was created from scratch.

One of the Central events of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Tula Kremlin, which will take place on September 26, will be the Zasechnaya chit festival. The events will be held at the sites of the Tula Kremlin, the dobrodey craft yard, cultural institutions and cities of the Zasechnaya line, the press service of the Tula region administration reported.

Special exhibitions and festive events are prepared in almost all museums, as well as in 11 cities of the Zasechnaya line. The program will be rich and varied.

The main events in Tula will be held on the Kazanskaya embankment. Here residents and guests of the city can visit a gastronomic festival, a fair of products of the Tula region, see interactive photo zones, team games of radio-controlled models, concerts of ethnic and folk music, as well as a Cossack show.
